The track surface meets the highest standards of constant roughness and flatness, quaranteeing high-precision test results that are reproducible. Due to its special foundation the track can be used by heavy vehicles as well as vehicles of high speed. Its surface supports axle loads of up to 15 tons and its banked curves allow lighter vehicles to drive at speeds of up to 200 km/h (and more on the straight ends).
