High friction track
Brake systems must be reliable under all circumstances.
To test the performance of brake systems on a high friction surface, TCL uses a concrete brake-testing track. On this track the following tests can be conducted:
- maximum deceleration
- road-holding during high deceleration
- swerving during emergency braking
- brake force distribution
- brake fading
- actual wheel speed/brake pressure
