A complete approach to homologation testing and certification
To receive a type approval certificate you must comply with the technical and administrative requirements of EC Directives, ECE Regulations or National legislation.
The type approval certificate will be issued to a manufacturer and only if the Conformity of Production has been ensured. For this, the RDW will issue a Compliance Statement.
Type approval certificates are based on test reports and information documents.
A test report means your tested product (sample / prototype) is in compliance with the technical requirements.
A type approval certificate will indicate your complete type (mass production) is also in compliance with the administrative requirements.
