Transfer registration number to the name of a company

Is your company registered with the Chamber of Commerce? You can register a vehicle in your company's name. You can arrange this online or at a vehicle registration counter, a desk, an inspection station or an RDW-approved company.

Do you have a sole proprietorship or partnership? You can only transfer the registration number to an individual.

Conditions

  • Your company is registered with the Chamber of Commerce.
  • Your company is a legal entity, such as a private limited company (BV), public limited company (NV), association, foundation or government body. Or it is a general partnership (VOF), limited partnership (VC) or foreign legal form registered with the Chamber of Commerce.
  • You have a registration card and a complete registration code. Do you have a paper registration certificate? You have the Certificate of Registered Ownership and Transfer Certificate.
  • The vehicle can be transferred. Verify this using the registration number check.
  • Transferring more than 50 vehicles to 1 company name? Go to Transferring registration certificates in bulk (only available in Dutch).
