The operator number is valid for 1 year. You can cancel your operator number with us before it expires. You will not receive a refund.

Cancelling an operator number with DigiD Cancelling an operator number with eHerkenning
Sign in with DigiD using the ‘Cancel operator number’ button. If the operator number is registered in your company's name, sign in with eHerkenning first. Please have your business registration number ready. You can find it on the excerpt or website of the Chamber of Commerce (KvK). A business registration number is not mandatory if you don't have one.

Did you complete the application? We will send you a confirmation email. Your operator number will be cancelled immediately.

You are no longer allowed to fly your drone(s). In addition, you are no longer responsible for flights made with this/these drone(s).

Remove the operator number from your drone(s) and make sure it is no longer programmed into your drone(s).

Cancel any insurance you may have taken out. Contact ILT to find out how cancellation of your operator number affects your flying permits.
