Closure of RDW locations due to code red weather warning
The Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) has issued a code red weather warning due to extreme weather conditions in the provinces of Noord-Brabant, Gelderland, Utrecht, Limburg, Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland, Flevoland and Overijssel. Code orange remains in force in Zeeland, Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe. A code yellow warning applies to the Wadden Islands.
Due to these exceptional weather conditions, the RDW has decided to close all inspection locations and the Lelystad test centre on Friday 26 June. This decision has not been taken lightly. We understand that this may be inconvenient, especially if you have made time for your appointment. At the same time, the safety of our customers and employees comes first.
Customers with an appointment at an inspection location will be called to arrange a new appointment. They do not need to take any action themselves. Do you have any questions?
