Disagreement with the PTI rejection

If your vehicle was rejected during the PTI inspection and you disagree, you can file an objection. We will come to check whether the rejection was justified or not. It is only possible to object immediately at the inspection.

Conditions

  • Since the inspection, your vehicle has not been moved and no repairs have been carried out.
  • You received the PTI report.

How to file an objection

  1. Immediately inform the PTI inspector that you do not agree with the rejection.

  2. Complete the section at the bottom right of the PTI report.

  3. The PTI inspector will contact the RDW straight away.

  4. An RDW employee will come to the garage and check whether the rejection is justified.

  5. If the rejection is not justified, the garage will pay the costs. If the rejection is justified, you will have to pay the costs.
