Change type approval or data

Is your company approved to apply for type approvals and has your information changed? Or would you like to expand or change your type approval? Please notify us as soon as possible.
    • Depending on the type of amendment, you must include documents. You will find a list of these documents on the application form. Please, provide correct and complete documents. This will speed up the application.
    • Send documents in PDF format only. Do not combine any documents. Use the document names as indicated in the application form.
  • You must notify us of the following changes:

    • If you wish to add or remove a directive and/or regulation concerning your approval. This may include matters of changed legislation or if you want to produce a new type of product.
    • Production location changes, a new production location or closing of a location.
    • If your name or address changes.
    • In case of an acquisition or merger.
    • If you stop production of all products for which we have granted type approval.
    1. Download and complete the form.
    2. Send the completed form to [email protected].
    3. We will send you an email confirmation when your change has been processed. Processing time varies from a few weeks to several months. Depending on the type of change.
    4. If we find documents are incomplete, we will inform you. As a result, processing may take longer.
    • You pay per modified type approval certificate.
    • Costs for changing your data are covered by the annual maintenance fee. Costs will be invoiced in March.
