Do you wish to buy, sell or suspend a vehicle? You will need a valid vehicle registration card and the valid registration code. Check whether your vehicle registration card and registration code are correct, free of charge.

Check the document number
Click on ‘Check document number’.

Enter the registration number and the document number. The document number can be found at the bottom right of the front of the vehicle registration card. Paper registration certificate? It does not contain a document number.

You will see whether the vehicle registration card is valid right away.

Click on ‘Check document number - registration code’.

Enter the document number and the registration code.

You will see whether the vehicle registration card and the registration code belong together right away.
Something is not right
- Is the vehicle registration card invalid? The vehicle cannot be transferred or suspended. You will have to request a new vehicle registration certificate first.
- Is the vehicle registration card valid, but not associated with the registration code? You will have to request a new registration code first.
